Christmas Grace by Malinda Martin

I just finished reading the book, "Christmas Grace" by Malinda Martin.
I must commend Malinda for writing such an uplifting piece. It is a
wonderful story that brings out every emotion possible. One minute I
was laughing and the next I was cryng. I am not one to pick up a book
and read but my daughter got it for me on Kindle and once I started reading
I could not put it down. I finished it in two nights.
I understand she has several others in the works and I can hardly wait
for the next one.
I hiighly recommend this book.

Ring the Bells

Grace is caught in a past she cannot release and a future she cannot have until she does. A mystery unfolding throughout premised on mistaken assumptions. Add Ellen and Howard for an additional touch of romance; the Jebs for comic relief; Holly for the resilence of childhood and the entire setting and characters for a spirit of Christmas. Stuart McCrae needs a perfect Christmas photograph and, if not for the unsightly diner minus any decorations, he has found it in Charity, Florida. So, what is his problem? You must read this delightful, sad and ultimately happy story to find the answers.

A Charming Tale

Miss Martin writes fluidly, with great character development and story lines, however, like most modern writers, her editing and/or proofreading lack much. How difficult is it for an editor to know when tenses are mixed, contractions misused for possessives and vice verse? It appears that electronic proofing is used rather than eyes and a brain. Examples: "the building where his offices where housed" - "your welcome" and many others errors in grammar, punctuation, and so on.
The content of her books deserve the highest rating, but woe to any English major who tries to read them!! For that reason alone, I gave it a lower rating!
