Eye opening!

What caring person doesn't want to see an end to war, genocide, hunger and poverty? What caring person doesn't believe in equality, human rights, freedom and sovereignty? Film has been a powerful tool for informing people about such issues -- but how well do they inform us about modern Africa? Is it possible that Hollywood loses both accuracy and compassion in it's desire to create blockbuster films? Does Hollywood doggedly evaluate Africa with wild west buddy movie perspectives, to forward American military goals? This is a highly academic book of essays, but it will make you think!.
