Quasi-Geostrophic Theory of Oceans and Atmosphere: Topics in the Dynamics and Thermodynamics of the Fluid Earth: 45 (Atmospheric and Oceano

Large-scale winds and currents tend to balance Coriolis and pressure gradient forces. The time evolution of these winds and currents is the subject of the quasi-geostrophic theory.
Chapter 1 presents concepts and equations of classical inertial fluid mechanics.
Chapter 2 deals with the equations of thermodynamics that close the governing equations of the fluids. Then, the motion is reformulated in a uniformly rotating reference frame.
Chapter 3 deals with the shallow-water model and the homogeneous model of wind-driven circulation. The chapter also describes a classical application of the Ekman layer to the atmosphere.
Chapter 4 considers the two-layer model, as an introduction to baroclinic flows, together with the concept of available potential energy.
Chapter 5 takes into account continuously stratified flows in the ocean and in the atmosphere.

Large scale flows are strong movements in the atmosphere and in the oceans, governed by the balance between Coriolis and pressure gradient forces (geostrophic equilibrium). This book describes the dynamics, mechanics and thermodynamics of these winds and currents. It is written for researchers, but also accessible for students in the field, since it also gives an overview of applied quasi-geostrophic theory suitable to advanced undergraduate and beginning graduate courses.

A Bottomless Grave: and Other Victorian Tales of Terror (Dover Thrift Editions), by Ambrose Bierce

Preoccupied with death, and repressed in many areas of their lives, Victorians seem to have found an emotional outlet in ghost stories, eerie tales, and a fascination with the macabre. Writers of the era fed this appetite with a continuing feast of stories steeped in terror and the supernatural.
This unique collection gathers together 21 of these Victorian-era spine-tinglers, but unlike most anthologies, which feature the same tired tales, this volume contains 21 outstanding, but neglected stories from that time period. The product of painstaking research in libraries, antique bookshops, and other out-of-the-way archives, these rare gems include the title story, a black comedy by Ambrose Bierce; "The Ship that Saw a Ghost," a tale of seafaring mystery by Frank Norris; "The Tomb," Guy de Maupassant's grotesque account of one man's incurable longing for his deceased lover; Richard Marsh's unsettling tale of "The Haunted Chair," and 17 more.
Compelling tales by such lesser-known writers as Dorothea Gerard, J. Keighley Snowden, Robert Barr, and Georgina C. Clark round out this collection of carefully chosen, hard-to-find narratives, sure to delight the most discerning reader of Victorian tales of terror and the supernatural.

Really a Mixed Bag (and Some Not Actually Tales of Terror ...)
By T.NAKAJIMA
Originally published in 1977, Hugh Lamb's collection, this time published by Dover, has many now obscure late Victorian ghost stories, and contains the following works:

The Devil of the Marsh by H. B. Marriott-Watson

A Tragic Honeymoon by G. R. Sims

The Battle of the Monsters by Morgan Robertson

The Return by R. Murrey Gilchrist

The Corpse Light by Dick Donovan

The Ship That Saw a Ghost by Frank Norris

A Bottomless Grave by Ambrose Bierce

One Summer Night by Ambrose Bierce

Ghosts That Have Haunted Me by J. K. Bangs

Haunted by Spirits by George Mandeville Fenn

A Ghost Slayer by J. Keightley Snowdon

The Tomb by Guy de Maupassant

The Man with the Nose by Rhoda Broughton

My Nightmare by Dorothea Gerard

A Life-watch by Georgina C. Clark

The Haunted Chair by Richard Marsh

Coolies by W. Carlton Dawe

The Three Souls by Erckmann-Chatrian

A Strange Goldfield by Guy Boothby

An Alpine Divorce by Robert Barr

The Story of Baelbrow by E. and H. Heron

Though the book's title reads 'Tales of Terrors,' the contents are rich in variety. Actually, you may say too rich to be credited as 'tales of terror.' For example, read 'The Battle of the Monsters,' and you will find this curious tale rather belongs sci-fi theme (like 'Flatland'). Some are intended as parody or even comedy though I do not assure you will find them really amusing. One unique choice is 'Collies,' a nightmarish experience of a white sailor on the sea off the coast of China, and probably you don't like the tale's tone very much when it unabashedly makes use of so-called fear of 'yellow peril.' (To do the story justice, however, this adventure story itself is well-written.)

Perhaps the best-known writer on the list above is Frank Norris, author of 'The Octopus' and others. Like Jack London, he wrote tales with nautical topics, and his story here is probably the best one in this collection. Claustrophobic and atmospheric, his tale with ghost-ship theme is very effective in blending the dream-like feelings and realistic background.

My other favorites is Ambrose Bierce and Rhoda Broughton. Bierce's second story with only two pages is vintage Bierce, who mixes two popular ghost story themes -- 'buried alive' theme and 'body snatcher' theme -- and leads to a very disturbing (and nasty) ending.

Broughton's tale is, on the other hand, very psychological, in which a typical English gentleman, after marrying a young girl, sees his newly-wed bride gradually drawn to 'the other side.' The tale is intriguing for what it suggests (and that's sexual), and some readers may remember one famous novel called 'Trilby.'

Anyway, not every tale is good, I admit, and if you say there are better ghost stories out there, I am ready to agree with you. But I enjoyed reading them as for what they are -- as something old-fashioned, often dated, but still interesting just because they are dated.

Try not to be a bride in a ghost story
By ealovitt
If you're looking for ghosts in your ghost stories, this book might disappoint you. Even the cover story, "A Bottomless Grave" has no ghost. However we do have Victorian witches, psychic detectives, con artists, revenge-suicides, and grave-robbers.

There are three humorous ghost stories, which editor Hugh Lamb realizes are not to everyone's taste so he issues an advance warning: "I've put them all together so that those in quest of thrills alone may bypass them if they wish."

I did indeed wish. One of them, "A Ghost Slayer" by J. Keighley Snowden is written in dialect and almost impossible to read, anyway.

Lamb writes very detailed introductions featuring the authors, so if you have an interest in obscure Victorian writers, this book is well worth its purchase price. And there are a handful of scary stories--some even have ghosts in them. Here are my favorites among the twenty-one tales in this collection:

"The Ship that saw a Ghost" by Frank Norris--A very atmospheric tale of a tramp steamer and an ancient three-masted derelict that first appears in "the red eye of the setting moon."

"The Man with the Nose" by Rhoda Broughton--A bride on an extended honeymoon keeps seeing a sinister figure with a prominent nose. The story reminds me of Le Fanu's "Schalken the Painter." It's tough to be a bride in a ghost story--sort of like being an extra in a 'Star Trek' episode.

"The Haunted Chair" by Richard Marsh--Members of an exclusive London club keep seeing a disreputable gambler who was supposedly exiled to Ceylon. He also seems to be stealing their wallets.

"The Story of Baelbrow" by E. and H. Heron--Flaxman Low, scientist and psychic detective is called into a haunted house when a housemaid is found dead in a corridor with a mysterious pustule behind her ear. Did the family ghost suddenly discover a taste for blood? Why is it biting folks behind their ears?

A Grab Bag of Victorian Terror Tales
By gac1003
The 21 tales gathered in this colleciton run the gamut of the Victorian Eras fascination with death, the supernatural and all things that cause fright in some way. From chilling ghost tales, including "The Ship That Saw A Ghost" by Frank Norris, "The Corpse Light" by Dick Donovan and "The Haunted Chair" by Richard Marsh to a potential mutiny in "Coolies" by W. Carlton Dawe, a unique foray in science fiction called "The Battle of the Monsters" by Morgan Robertson and an interesting way to end a marriage in "An Alpine Divorce" by Robert Barr. These stories highlight some of the best and sometimes overlooked writers -- both male and female -- including Guy de Maupassant, Ambrose Bierce, Rhoda Broughton, and Erckmann-Chatrian. Filled with rich descriptions and an almost palpable sense of terror, these tales will delight readers of Victorian literature and terror/horror fans alike.

Hale was the editor of the 19th-century publication Godey Lady's Book, a forerunner of the modern "woman's magazine." This 1841 title offers recipes and advice on hosting dinners. Though the recipes might seem unhealthy by today's standards?lots of butter and eggs?Hale lived to be 90!

"The Good Housekeeper," 1841
By ealovitt
Sarah Josepha Hale, author of "Early American Cookery" was the editor of the "Ladies' Magazine" from 1827 to 1836, and then editor of "Godey's Lady's Book" from 1837 to 1877. If you are interested in the lives of nineteenth-century Americans, most especially what they ate, how they cleaned house, and how they raised their children, this book is a gold mine.

In the preface to the first edition of this book, the author quoted foreigners as saying that "our climate is unhealthy; that the Americans have, generally, thin forms, sallow complexions, and bad teeth." However she believed these defects were caused by dietary problems, "such as using animal food to excess, eating hot bread, and swallowing our meals with steam-engine rapidity" rather than a rotten climate

This book was written to point out ways that American dietary deficiencies could be corrected. The author wanted to teach her readers "how to live well, and to be well while we live." She based her dietetic theories on the works of Dr. Andrew Combe of Edinburgh, and while some of the principles may seem out-dated to those of us who follow diet gurus such as Dr. Atkins, Jenny Craig, or Barry Sears, this author's notion of 'temperance in all things' is still valid--possibly more valid than starving ourselves with Slim-Fast, or low-fats and high carbs, or grapefruit and cabbage.

The author was definitely not a vegetarian. She quoted Scripture to prove that we were meant to eat meat, but in moderation. Most of the recipes in this book involve meat---everything from beef to turtle. For instance, to start a batch of rich mince meat, "Cut the root off a neat's tongue, rub the tongue well with salt, let it lie four days, wash it perfectly clean, and boil it till it becomes tender..."

Not only should we make our own bread, but if a barrel of beer is kept in the house, we should make our own yeast. For those of us who don't have that essential barrel of beer, the author also included yeast recipes that are made from milk or hops.

One of my favorite chapters is "Household Economy," but a problem with many of the cleaning formulae will be in finding the necessary ingredients. My grandmother probably knew what spirits of salt and pearlash were, but most of us who were born into the age of Comet Cleanser and Mr. Clean wouldn't know a freestone from a quart of bullock's gall.

"Early American Cookery" is a fascinating historical document, but I don't think many of us will actually attempt the recipes.

Light of the World: A Dave Robicheaux Novel, by James Lee Burke

New York Times bestselling author and “America’s best novelist” (The Denver Post) James Lee Burke is back with the twentieth mystery in the masterful Dave Robicheaux series.

Sadist and serial killer Asa Surrette narrowly escaped the death penalty for the string of heinous murders he committed while capital punishment was outlawed in Kansas. But following a series of damning articles written by Dave Robicheaux’s daughter Alafair, Surrette escapes from a prison transport van and heads to Montana, where an unsuspecting Dave—along with Alafair; Dave’s wife, Molly; Dave’s faithful partner Clete; and Clete’s newfound daughter, Gretchen Horowitz—have come to take in the sweet summer air.

Surrette may be even worse than Dave’s old enemy Legion Guidry, a man Dave suspected might very well be the devil incarnate. But before Dave can stop Surrette from harming those he loves most, he’ll have to do battle with Love Younger, an enigmatic petrochemical magnate seeking to build an oil pipeline from Alberta to Texas, and Wyatt Dixon, a rodeo clown with a dark past whom Burke fans will recall from his Billy Bob Holland novels.

Says The Plain Dealer (Cleveland), “Already designated a Grand Master by the Mystery Writers of America, Burke should get another title, say, for sustained literary brilliance in his Dave Robicheaux series.” Drawing on real events that took place in Wichita, Kansas, over a twenty-year span, Light of the World is a harrowing novel that examines the nature of evil and pits Dave Robicheaux against the most diabolical villain he has ever faced.

From Booklist
*Starred Review* Hats off to the Library of Congress cataloger who applied the subject heading “Good and Evil” to Burke’s latest Dave Robicheaux novel. In that simple tag lies the core of this acclaimed series. Robicheaux, the Cajun detective with a melancholy streak as wide as the Mississippi, grieves lost innocence in all its forms, but as much as he remembers goodness in the past, he crusades against evil in the present. The bad guys against whom Robicheaux—along with his equally tormented comrade-in-arms, Clete Purcell—campaigns sometimes take the form of bent rich guys driven by blind greed. But occasionally the evil comes in a more chilling, vaguely supernatural form—depravity beyond sociology—giving these novels a darker, more mythic tone, with Robicheaux cast as a contemporary Beowulf, asked to plunge deep into the heart of darkness to confront the Grendels lurking beneath the surface of daily life. So it is here, when serial killer Asa Surette, believed dead, resurfaces in Montana with scores to settle, including one with Robicheaux’s daughter, Alafair. The plot plays out in a manner that will be familiar to Burke fans, including a firestorm of a climax near Flathead Lake, but there is one big difference: no longer is it just Dave and Clete sallying forth, armed to the teeth, to slay the monster. No, this time it’s a family affair, with the next generation—Alafair and Clete’s daughter, Gretchen, who surfaced in Creole Belle (2012)—also locked, loaded, and standing alongside their fathers in the final confrontation. It sounds over the top, but it works, enveloping the reader in the visceral terror of the moment and reminding us that Grendel may still swim in our midst. HIGH-DEMAND BACKSTORY: Burke has won two Edgars and been named a Grand Master by the Mystery Writers of America; his Dave Robicheaux novels routinely lodge themselves on the New York Times bestseller list. This one will, too. --Bill Ott

“Over the years, James Lee Burke’s voice has grown more messianic, his books more biblical. He’s in full fire-and-brimstone mode in Light of the World. . . . [The] monstrous villain [makes] life a living hell for an expanded cast of the quaintly insane characters who are Burke’s specialty. For that alone, let’s give this devil his due.” (The New York Times Book Review )

“James Lee Burke's Dave Robicheaux, the haunted, all-too-human homicide detective from the Louisiana bayou country, first appeared more than 25 years ago in The Neon Rain. It was apparent, even then, that Burke had given us an extraordinary character, one whose depth, complexity and evocative narrative voice was worth returning to again and again. That has turned out to be the case. Light of the World is the 20th installment in this increasingly ambitious series, and it reaffirms Robicheaux’s status as one of the most successfully sustained creations in contemporary crime fiction.” (Washington Post Book World )

“James Lee Burke is truly an American treasure, right up there with the Liberty Bell, the Constitution, and apple pie. To say he is a mystery writer is like saying the Atlantic Ocean is a pond.” (The Philadelphia Inquirer )

“Evocative, lyrical, and haunting . . . [Robicheaux] is a complex, thoughtful, damaged and violent man, unlike any protagonist in modern mystery fiction. . . . Mr. Burke’s books are beyond traditional procedural mysteries. You won't find better writing in, or arguably out of, the genre. While uncommon in almost every way, his characters are knowable and very real.” (The Pittsburgh Post-Gazette )

“This magnificent new novel seems the capstone of a formidable career, an awesome world bristling with references to Elizabethan and Greek tragedy, Roman emperors, the stench of the devil, and the Manichean vision of medieval chronicles.” (The Providence Journal-Bulletin )

“You can call Burke a crime fiction writer, but I call him a national treasure — he's not just a master of propulsive plots, rich prose and achingly real characters, he's a writer who looks unflinchingly at violence in American culture, at every level from the personal to the corporate. . . . Despite such moments of despair, Dave Robicheaux is an enduring hero, and Burke takes Light of the World pedal-to-the-metal to a hair-raising standoff and a satisfying end.” (Tampa Bay Times )

“[Light of the World] is vintage Burke: a killer plot, flawed but decent heroes, loathsome villains, a keen sense of history and philosophy and prose that leaves the reader in awe. . . . At once lovely and lethal, Light of the World shimmers with Burke’s ability to depict the best and the worst of the human family, and to do so with a steady eye and a generous heart.” (Jay Strafford, Richmond Times-Dispatch )

“A hellbent death-row inmate escapes and comes gunning for Cajun police detective-troubleshooter Dave Robicheaux, his family and friends. This is the 20th Robicheaux tale by a celebrated master of the thriller genre.” (Sacramento Bee )

“I long ago exhausted my skimpy store of superlatives on James Lee Burke’s exquisite prose and moving plots. . . . Once again, Burke takes us to the best and worst of worlds.” (Margaret Cannon, Globe and Mail (Canada) )

“Burke’s boldest and most complex novel to date, at once a superb crime story and a literary masterpiece from an author who has been named a Mystery Writers of America Grand Master.” (Associated Press )

“Hats off to the Library of Congress cataloger who applied the subject heading ‘Good and Evil’ to Burke’s latest Dave Robicheaux novel. In that simple tag lies the core of this acclaimed series. . . . Occasionally the evil comes in a more chilling, vaguely supernatural form—depravity beyond sociology—giving these novels a darker, more mythic tone . . . but it works, enveloping the reader in the visceral terror of the moment.” (Booklist, starred review )

“Burke produces his most sharply focused, and perhaps his most harrowing, study of human evil, refracted through the conventions of the crime novel.” (Kirkus Reviews )

“A powerful meditation on the nature—and smell—of evil . . . But even as the stomach roils, the fingers keep turning the pages because the much-honored Burke (two Edgars, a Guggenheim Fellowship) is a master storyteller.” (Publishers Weekly, starred review )

“Fans will be thrilled to find Robicheaux and Clete Purcel joined by their respective adult daughters in a hard-hitting, intense battle between good and evil. . . . As the story unfolds, a rodeo cowboy who speaks in tongues, a serial killer who should be dead, ex-cons, rapists, bear traps and evil that dwells in caves in the hills all come together in perhaps the greatest showdown of Burke's career.” (ShelfAwareness.com )

This is stunning
By Paul Rooney
This is stunning. When I read "Creole Belle" last year I thought Dave and Cletus had ran their race and it was time for them to be retired but back comes Mr Burke with his, in my opinion, best since "In the Electric Mist...".

In this new thriller all the main characters, Dave, Clete,Molly, Alafair and Clete's daughter Gretchen are living in Montana. Due to circumstances they lock horns with an escaped serial killer, the usual wealthy bad guy and two other extremely interesting additions, an insane rodeo cowboy and his equally strange girlfriend. This all sounds silly the way its laid out by me but it is fantastic.

I haven't deprived myself of sleep to finish a book in a long time but I did with this. One of the most enjoyable things is that we don't get too much of Dave's philosophy on life, the universe and everything and the other characters share almost equal billing.

Its got it all - violence, humour,a really evil villain and the final scenes on the lake front are edge of the seat stuff.

Brilliant stuff and long may it continue.

Burke is in a valedictory mood
By Richard Cumming
In this, the 20th Dave Robicheaux book, James Lee Burke is assessing Dave's life and career as well as his own. As Dave reflects on the things that have been important to him; his family and friends, he sounds like he's channelling the author's own personal feelings pouring straight from that imaginary fictional pipeline that leads his readers from Montana to Louisiana.

In this one we have the guys, Dave and Clete, on vacation again in Montana. Dave's daughter Alafair is there. So is Gretchen, the daughter Clete thought that he had lost. As the story opens both daughters are feeling threatened. Their fathers are enraged by the threats and the incompetence and corruption of the local law enforcement authorities. And like a pair of raging grizzly bears Dave and Clete seek their quarry, in this case that turns out to be an escaped serial killer from Kansas named Asa Surrette, a creature so loathsome that the pages where he appears seem to reek with a stench so vile that we feel we might be nearing the gates of Hades.

Nobody writes like Jim Burke. Enjoy.

The twentieth Dave Robicheaux novel
By TChris
As its opening paragraphs expressly state, Light of the World is an exploration of evil, a familiar theme in James Lee Burke's novels. It is Dave Robicheaux's tale of how "one of the most wicked creatures on earth made his way into" the lives of Robicheaux's family and friends. Initially, the reader wonders whether the "wicked creature" is a born-again rodeo clown named Wyatt Dixon, the serial killer Asa Surrette (who, according to the FBI, is dead), or some other character who might be channeling Keyser Söze, making the novel a sort of whodunit. In the end, Burke's point is that evil wears many faces. Some evil people enter and leave prison, some enter the worlds of business or politics, some carry a badge. And as the best thriller writers remind us, the boundary between good and evil is often indistinct.

Robicheaux meets Dixon after an arrow sails past the ear of his adopted daughter Alafair while she's jogging in Montana during a family vacation at Albert Hollister's ranch. Alafair soon realizes that someone is stalking her, and she thinks she recognizes Surrette, a psychopath she once interviewed in a maximum security prison for a book she was writing. The stalking coincides with the murder of a seventeen-year-old girl, the adopted granddaughter of a billionaire whose son is a scoundrel.

Burke adds another dimension to the story with the reappearance of Gretchen Horowitz (last seen in Creole Belle), the daughter of Dave's friend Clete Purcel. Sexually abused as a child, Gretchen became a contract killer before renouncing her criminal vocation. Child abuse is clearly evil; whether Gretchen is evil, given her past, Burke leaves for the reader to decide. She might be less evil than a member of the local police department who brutalizes a handcuffed suspect before focusing his unwelcome attention on her. Robicheaux is a cop, but he acknowledges the evil inherent in the "sick culture" that pervades law enforcement, the "smug moral superiority" that makes police officers feel entitled to violate the laws they are sworn to enforce. Of course, any book about evil is also about good, and rare is the person who is entirely one or the other. The fact that good and evil coexist assures that they will influence (or taint) each other by virtue of their proximity. Robicheaux has learned the lesson that we all "belong to the family of man, even if only on its outer edges."

Burke writes with such eloquence that his tendency to be verbose is easy to forgive. When he waxes poetic about human nature, I take it in stride, confident that he'll eventually pick up the plot thread. His soaring prose is a joy to read. Real people generally aren't as articulate as the characters in a Burke novel (I know I'm not), but if they were, the world would be a more interesting place.

There's as much family drama as thriller drama in Light of the World, but none of it is melodrama. Family isn't always easy but it's always family, a point Burke makes through several of his characters. Burke has a knack for creating characters I'd sometimes like to strangle, while at the same time making me understand why they behave as they do.

Thrillers that take evil as their theme often allude to the devil, and this one is no exception. When Burke asks whether evil has human origins or whether it comes from a darker place, he's walking on familiar ground. When his characters started smelling peculiar odors that they associate with malevolence and seeing prints made by two-legged goat-footed creatures and at least half believing that the killer is an emissary of the devil, I became worried about the novel's direction, but Burke offers an appealing contrast of explanations for those phenomena, grounded both in the rational world and in the supernatural. In any event, Light of the World is such a deft display of suspenseful storytelling that my qualms vanished well before the novel reached its climax.

Very wordy dialog-heavy book without much story
By Rorshach
If you are getting this book as part of the TOG curriculum, it's not the best read. I would hesitate to get another book by this author. The dialog is really excessively choppy. Mostly, the children are characters who ask their Aunt Lena a million questions about their father's past which she then recounts for them. The children don't do much themselves. It's like reading a long and drawn out question and answer session. You can get the exact same info on Martin Luther presented more concisely in Trial & Triumph by Richard Hannula or even the Paul Maier book on Luther. He is certainly well worth studying -- just not with this book. That being said, my children didn't seem to mind me reading it to them though. We just read a chapter a day. It seemed like a lot of reading for no new insight or information. So, if you have the other books, you don't need this one.

Sustainable Potato Production: Global Case StudiesFrom Springer

Potato (Solanum tuberosum L.) is grown in over 100 countries throughout the world. As a staple food, potato is the fourth most important crop after rice, wheat, and maize, and has historically contributed to food and nutrition security in the world. Global interest in potato increased recently as world food prices soared, threatening the global food security and stability. Unlike major cereals, potato is not a globally traded commodity, and prices are usually determined by local production costs. Thus, potato is increasingly regarded as a vital food-security crop and as a substitute for costly cereal imports. With such importance, the 29 chapters in the edited book address the issues of sustainable potato production. This book begins with an introduction on sustainable potato production and global food security, and then presents eight case studies selected globally and covering different issues relevant to sustainable potato production in both developed and developing countries.

Global interest in potato increased recently as world food prices soared, threatening the global food security and stability. Potato is increasingly regarded as a vital food-security crop. With such importance, the 29 chapters in the edited book address the issues of sustainable potato production.  This book begins with an introduction on sustainable potato production and global food security, and then presents eight case studies selected globally and covering different issues relevant to sustainable potato production in both developed and developing countries. Each case study consists of 1-5 chapters written by the accomplished experts in relevant fields. All case studies are problem-solving-oriented, and each case study (Part) sets a theme to address the challenging potato production issues in that region. This book discusses a broad spectrum of sustainable and environmentally-friendly potato production techniques. For example, Part II is focused on linking irrigated potato cropping systems to sustainable agriculture in the west USA whereas Part IV reports research on improving nitrogen management in rainfed Potato production in eastern Canada. On the other hand, Part VI discusses the water-saving research (dripping irrigation, plastic mulching, and drought- and salinity-tolerant transgenic potato) in the semi-arid areas of Northern China. This book will serve as a valuable reference source for academic researchers, university faculty, extension specialists, industry professional, international organization coordinators, and government regulators who work and deal with various aspects of potato production managements.
