About the Author
Stan Berenstain (1923–2005) and Jan Berenstain (1923–2012) were a husband-and-wife cartooning team best known for creating the internationally beloved Berenstain Bears. Both born in Philadelphia, they met on the first day of art school, and were married after World War II. Inspired by their children’s love for Dr. Seuss, the Berenstains created a cartoon version of their own family, and with The Big Honey Hunt (1962) began a series that would stretch to more than two hundred volumes. Starring Papa Bear, Mama Bear, Sister Bear, and Brother Bear, the books quickly became popular for their evocative drawings and simple explanations of wholesome themes. The stories sold more than 200 million copies worldwide and have been adapted as movies, television shows, and amusement park attractions. The Berenstains’ younger son, Mike, has overseen the series since his parents passed away, ensuring that it will continue to be popular with each new generation of young readers.

Discover your talents!

This book not only teaches about superlatives but also about discovering where our true talent lies. Everybody is good at something and it just takes some patience to find out what we can do best. Finally, this book is also amusing and centres around having fun through family-togetherness.
Brother and Sister Bear take turns at winning the Bear's Mini-Olympics and poor Father Bear seems to be the one who always come up last. What IS Father Bear good at? Finally, we find that there is something Father Bear is good at!

READY, GET SET GO!

READY, GET SET GO! is a book by Stan and Jan Berestain. This book is about Papa bear, Brother bear, and Sister bear in a fun competition against each other. They do different AMAZING events like rope climbing. Mama bear is the remarkable coach. They all win events except Papa. finally Papa wins the best sleeper award.
The reason I adore this book is because it's funny and AWESOME! I love seeing all the events like who jumps the farthest, who climbs the highest, and who swings the highest. Berenstain Bear books are one of my favorite books to read. You should read this book!

Ready, Get Set, Go is about the Berenstain Bears family trying to get better at things. I think the pictures look like people exercising. Papa Bear is training for the Bear Olympics. This book is basically about getting active, getting up, and going outside and exercising. Papa Bear tries everything like: jumping, running, and climbing. Papa keeps losing at those sports. What sport will Papa win at?...Waylon S.
